Man and his Daughter on Hay Wagon. Crossroads, 1986

These images were shot on Black & White Polaroid film near Greenville, Mississippi in the Delta region which produced a great number of Blues artists - including Robert Johnson who, as the story goes, went down to the Crossroads (the junction of Hwy 61 and Hwy 49) and made a deal with the Devil to be the greatest blues artist. "My thumbprint is on the wagon from touching the film when pulling it apart during development. A touch, hey?"
