from Friday, January 21, 2011 to Sunday, April 17, 2011
Hotel de la Monnaie, Paris, France
Patrick Chauvel is one of the major war photographers of the past 60 years. He covered the Vietnam war as well as dozens of conflicts worldwide. He wants to alert everyone of the horrors of warfare. And he wants to tell us that war can happen anywhere at any time.
He has created striking photomontages mixing two real photographs: one from war (Chechenya, Lybia, Thailand, etc); the other one from Paris.
The exhibition has been seen by over 10,000 visitors and has received glowing press reviews.
