"The Language ofTrees"
from Saturday, July 7, 2018 to Saturday, September 8, 2018
Summer Exhibition At the Paris Gallery
We now know that trees talk to each other. But we have always known that they speak to us. Who does not feel moments of simple happiness in the shade of a beautiful oak tree in summer, or a sense of worry when entering a dense fir forest? A cherry blossom tells us a love poem.
After the painters, the photographers captured the trees as models. For our gallery, which seeks to champion pictorialist photography, what a fitting subject for a summer exhibition.
Each of the five artists on view expresses their own sensitivity to this timeless subject. A language at once universal, and also unique.
