The Beatles had hired Jean-Marie Périer to shoot them for covers during the recording of “Sgt Peppers”. He had built a photographic studio inside the Abbey Road studios. The most difficult for him was to get the four of them to come together there. More often than not, members of the band could be found on the roofs of the building, talking to angels…
