Hur Kyung-Ae: Sculpting color through Danseakhwa
We are proud and happy to present the work of Hur Kyung-Ae for the first time in Los Angeles. Rooted in the Korean monochrome tradition yet unmistakably contemporary, her paintings are built through an intensive process of accumulating 30 to 70 layers of acrylic paint, which she then carves, slices, and reassembles.

Momies - Musée de l'Homme, Paris
A selection of photographs from the Mummies of Palermo series by Sophie Zénon is presented in the landmark exhibition Mummies at the Musée de l’Homme in Paris, from November 19, 2025 to May 25, 2026.
By their very mention, “mummies” revive a whole imaginary world that brings to mind Ancient Egypt. Yet mummification extends far beyond this spatio‑temporal framework. This new exhibition invites visitors to explore the histories of several mummified individuals, to discover the significance and diversity of this practice around the world, and to question the processes through which it has been transformed into heritage.
