    Brouillant les frontières entre subjectif et objectif, entre vérité et illusion, l’œuvre habite une zone médiane entre les deux.

    Dans ce projet, l'accent est mis sur les moyens de relier notre désir humain de comprendre et d'imaginer ce qui dépasse notre perception immédiate.

    En se basant sur l'esthétique de la nostalgie et en la reliant à ce qui semble être un enregistrement historique, notre mémoire subjective élabore des mondes étrangers au nôtre. Des mondes qui ont disparu depuis longtemps et des mondes qui ne sont pas encore complètement formés.

    USA , 1955

    Born in Montreal, Quebec, Jeremiah Chechik studied theatre and film at Mcgill University.


    Jeremiah has been an early innovator in laser holography, a fashion photographer for Italian Vogue, as well as an award winning commercials, film and television director and producer. His name is on multiple patents, having pioneered streaming video on the internet.


    Jeremiah has consulted for Nokia and BMW, lectured at Anneberg School of Communications, USC Film School , UCLA and is on the staff of Art Center College of Design in Pasadena.


    His photographic work spans 40 years as he continues to innovate both technically and aesthetically, on paper, glass and aluminum and in digital form.


    He call Venice CA home.
