At Rencontres d'Arles: Sophie Zénon, Mongolian Haikus
Mongolian Haikus, Sophie Zénon’s very first photographs, created in the late 1990s, are featured in the exhibition Our Distant Dreams. Curated by Fannie Escoulen and Laure Augustins, the exhibition brings together photographs from the FNAC Collection, one of the most significant corporate photography collections in France. Through one hundred images spanning several decades, it takes us to the far reaches of the territories explored by photographers, revealing the intensity of their relationship with the landscape and their encounters with “the other, both near and distant.”
